E Ink will exhibit at VIVE23 March 26 – 29, 2023 in booth #2606 in Nashville, TN. This will be the first time exhibiting for E Ink.
VIVE23 describes itself as a “curated event experience for senior digital health leaders focusing on the business of healthcare systems.” This is the second annual event.
In addition to exhibits, there will be sessions and focus groups. More than 7,500 attendees are expected this year - over 2,000 are C level executives. There are 300 speakers scheduled and 600+ exhibitors.
The hall has four different musical genre stages and two restaurants. Nashville is known for hospitality and VIVE23 will not disappoint.

E Ink will demonstrate several types of signage tailored for healthcare – The Digital Whiteboard and other healthcare-focused products.
The Digital Whiteboard (DWB) is a 42” diagonal display created to replace the dry erase boards found in patient rooms. Installation is simple – low power consumption means that the DWB can be battery powered or POE (Power over Ethernet). Even though the information comes from the EMR software, there is no requirement for high data bandwidth – no HDMI needed. Orders are entered once in the system – no mistakes. This keeps the patient informed as well as the care team.
This feature is the most impressive to me – at a touch of a button, the patient information can be switched to another image – artwork, facility information – anything other than the patient’s private and protected information. That is so awesome!
Here’s the second critical improvement over LCD screens – no disturbing blue light – less disturbing in low light conditions.
Complementing the DWB is the 7.8” door sign. Also tied into the facility’s EMR software, the non-privileged information can be easily updated and legible for patients and healthcare providers. It also runs on battery with long intervals between charging.
