At this year's SID Display Week, E Ink once again took center stage with a dynamic booth that highlighted the versatility, innovation, and eco-friendly qualities of ePaper technology. As one of the most anticipated events in the display industry, Display Week brought together leading minds and brands to explore the future of visual technology—and E Ink delivered on every front.

Spotlight on Color ePaper Signage
One of the most talked-about highlights of our booth was the showcase of E Ink Spectra 6, the next generation of our color ePaper technology. Having six 75” displays at the front of the booth made it hard to miss. With enhanced color saturation, richer blacks, and improved contrast, Spectra 6 drew a constant crowd of attendees curious to see how color ePaper is pushing boundaries in signage. Spectra 6 truly was a fan-favorite, as it won a People’s Choice Award for Best Display Component!
Along with Spectra 6, E Ink Marquee and E Ink Kaleido 3 Outdoor were huge highlights. E Ink Kaleido 3 Outdoor showcased some transportation applications of ePaper. Our partner, Digital View, helped out in this section with their transit ePaper displays, both with and without a front light. E Ink Kaleido was the first to have a 75” display, and there were two in the booth to demonstrate DOOH advertising. This display also had a clock in the corner to show what local updates would look like. E Ink Marquee, our latest technological release, could be seen for the second time at Display Week, following its first looks at Touch Taiwan. The E Ink Marquee displays were shown in multiple sizes, both 75” and 13.3”.
Healthier Screen Time
ePaper displays are 3 times healthier for your eyes than traditional LCD screens – and you could experience this in person at the healthier screen time section. The booth had a section dedicated to different ePaper consumer products. Attendees could try out the latest eReaders, eNotes, ePaper monitors, and more. The new Readmoo mooInk V, the first color foldable eReader, was on display for attendees to see in person. This section also featured the Kaleido 3 video demonstration, which was definitely a popular spot.

Color Changing Prism Products
In the Prism section, you could see in person some of our latest prototypes – including the color changing Delvaux handbags and Cream Guitar. There were some demos of the film used in these products to give attendees a hands-on experience with the flexible material. We also had an exploded view of the Cream Guitar, which was perfect for explaining the different layers that go into a product like this one.
Live Demos and Ecosystem Partners
We were thrilled to host several of our partners who demonstrated their latest devices and integrations using E Ink’s technology. From ePaper signage that was powered wirelessly from Agile Display Solutions to digital picture frames from Pocketbook, Aluratek, SonicGrace, and Reflection Frame, our booth was a hive of interaction and innovation. The ePaper picture frames from Reflection Frame could be changed in real time – otherwise it may not have been believable that they actually weren’t paper!
ePaper digital signage was a focus point, with the Philips Tableaux and Samsung Color ePaper displays. You couldn’t miss Dory’s spot, who was updating their ePaper door signs with attendee’s names, or Digital View’s Kaleido 3 transit displays and Papercast’s ePaper bus stop passenger information display. Lots of questions were asked about the wireless power transmitters from Wi-Charge, there was a demo one in their pod, and another mounted to the wall that was actually powering a display from C3. Many thanks to all our partners in the booth and to those who sent representatives!
