Manama, Bahrain
Travelers in Manama, the capital of Bahrain, can now benefit from an improved travel experience with the solar powered ePaper bus stop signage provided by our customer Papercast.
Replacing paper timetables, it incorporates Papercast’s 13-inch displays to provide accurate arrival and departure times and other important information to travelers.
This move aligns with the city’s strategy to modernize public transportation while addressing Bahrain’s sustainable development goals.

Minneapolis, Minnesota
Metro Transit is testing four solar-powered displays at bus stops across Minneapolis, with signage solutions provided by our customer GDS.
Powered by E Ink, the tablet-sized screens share bus schedules, arrival times as well as route maps to inform passengers. They can also receive alerts when buses are detoured due to construction or other reasons.
These displays outshine LCD screens with their durability and usability. E Ink displays are also more cost-effective and have a much smaller carbon footprint.

Christchurch, New Zealand
Papercast also teamed up with Christchurch City Council in New Zealand to provide new bus locators at bus stops to make public transportation easier for its residents.
The bus locators use Papercast’s ePaper information displays – powered by E Ink, which provide real-time updates to passengers. They are also a more reliable, modern and flexible solution that supports Christchurch’s transportation network.

Charleston, West Virginia
Kanawha Valley Regional Transportation Authority (KVRTA) recently deployed signage solutions from our customer Connectpoint to bring real-time transit information to the people of Charleston.
E Ink-powered displays are exceptionally low energy and can withstand harsh conditions and extreme weather like heavy rain or snow.
The wireless connectivity options also provide always-on customer arrival information, alerts and maps at every stop across the transit network.
