Kobo Shows a Range of Colors in New Libra and Clara eReaders

Why settle for one function when you can have two? The latest Rakuten Kobo product to hit the market is an eReader and eNote – and has color too!

The Kobo Libra sports a 7” Kaleido 3 display. The color is ideal for highlighting passages and editing, according to Lifewire. Further, there’s a 6” Clara as well.

A new feature is the addition of iFixit which will allow replacement of common components. Personally, I’ve never had an eReader fail in over 10 years. The rear panel is textured – a bonus for butterfingers like me who can be counted on to drop everything.

The Kobo Clara Colour 6 inch is the same as the 7 inch Libra. Both have ComfortLight Pro – warm and cool. Both have integration with DropBox and Google Drive for storage. The stylus will attach magnetically to the bezel.

Pricing is just above the black and white Libra 2 and Clara. Standard ePaper features are included – long battery life, sunlight readable and lightweight. And they are waterproof.

Both have Bluetooth connect – listen to your audio books in addition to reading. Many local libraries will share books with OverDrive and Libby.

Both are priced to sell. Kobo has done a great job with these colour eReaders!
