Posted by Carolyn Tusinski on 2023-02-03

E Ink and Papercast will exhibit at BusWorld23 in Detroit, MI, February 4 – 7, 2023, booth # 2114.

BusWorld is the annual event produced by the American Bus Association (ABA). The ABA supports motorcoach operators, tour operators, tourism related organizations as well as products and service providers.

Electronic Paper Display (EPD) bus, railway, and transportation signs enable green mobility and smart city infrastructure thanks to their high energy efficiency. EPD signs can run independently from the electric grid. The paper-like, high-contrast display offers excellent readability and provides real-time arrival information, service alerts, and route display, all updatable from a central location. Thanks to ease of installation and reduced need to update signs manually, operation and maintenance costs are kept low.

E Ink will feature new color modules –and Kaleido, as well as a faster Carta black & white module.

Papercast will feature several solutions – solar powered information and lighting units for bus stops. Additionally they will feature units for bus shelters.

E Ink displays provide the following benefits:

Low power consumption and ease of installation – can be solar powered.

Contributes to Smart Cities initiatives.

Highly sustainable.

Various sizes and configurations – black & white as well as color.

Long life – crucial to sustainability goals – less waste.
