ISE 2026 showcased a clear industry shift. Digital signage is evolving to be more sustainable, energy-efficient, and adaptable, and E Ink technology was at the center of it all. With more than 30 partners featuring ePaper solutions across the show floor, the number of different applications demonstrated how far the ecosystem has grown.

Immersive Retail and Storefront Experiences

Retail and storefront environments were a major focus. Immersive café concepts from AUO Display+ and Samsung integrated E Ink Spectra 6 displays ranging from 10” to 31.5”, alongside bold E Ink Marquee installations. These deployments showed how retailers can create vibrant, full-color experiences while dramatically reducing power consumption.

BOE also featured 13.3” and 31.5” E Ink Spectra 6 displays and E Ink Marquee demonstrations. Media Resources also highlighted a real-time dashboard connected to an E Ink Marquee display that underscored the measurable energy savings of ePaper technology. LG and Dynascan extended the retail vision with large-format storefront windows, outdoor signage, kiosks, and wall displays that combine flexibility with ultra-low energy use.

Large-Format Innovation Replacing Print

Large format ePaper signage continued to gain momentum. Netronix, in collaboration with Sable, introduced 75” and A-frame displays designed to replace traditional printed signage in high-traffic environments. Sharp and LG presented impactful large-format storefront and outdoor signage solutions.

One of the standout moments of the show came from Agile Display Solutions. Its 75” Kaleido ePaper Cassette, built to replace static posters within existing frames, earned Top New Technology at ISE 2026 for Digital Signage Hardware. This recognition reflects the industry’s growing demand for dynamic solutions that eliminate print waste without increasing energy use.

Powering the Future of Sustainable Signage

ISE attendees also experienced different ePaper applications firsthand through the Joan Workplace ePaper visitor badge, reinforcing how ultra-low-power displays can modernize event and corporate environments. Across every booth, a consistent message emerged: businesses no longer need to choose between visual impact and sustainability. E Ink’s low-power, highly visible displays are enabling a new generation of digital signage that supports sustainability goals while delivering real-world performance.
