Recognized for her advocacy and efforts in promoting sustainability within the flexible hybrid electronics (FHE) industry, Garone has been instrumental in shaping E Ink’s sustainability practices. Her leadership has driven employee initiatives and secured corporate commitments to the United Nations Global Compact and a carbon net-zero goal by 2040. Additionally, her active participation in a Massachusetts-based Green Team initiative highlights her dedication to environmental stewardship. “E Ink believes innovation and sustainability go hand in hand,” said Garone. “Our passion in this area inspired our corporate mission to be carbon net zero by 2040, and we are confident that the meaningful actions we are taking across our business will enable us to achieve that goal.” **Business Intelligence Group’s 2024 Sustainability Award for Product** Just days later, E Ink was again in the spotlight, winning the [2024 Sustainability Award from the Business Intelligence Group](https://www.bintelligence.com/posts/greener-tomorrow-today-2024-sustainability-awards-celebrate-organizations-leading-the-environmental-charge). This award recognizes organizations and products that have made sustainability a core element. Russ Fordyce, CEO of Business Intelligence Group, emphasized the importance of sustainability in modern business, stating, “Sustainability has evolved from a passing trend to a cornerstone of most forward-thinking companies.
