Yes, it can! There are so many new features and upgrades – it’s a more advanced Paperwhite.

Here is the short list of upgrades:

-   6.8” display
-   Thinner borders
 -  Adjustable warm light
-   Up to 10 weeks of battery life
-   20% faster page turns

Drilling down into the details, the new 11th generation Paperwhite is all about the reading experience. 300 ppi makes the reading experience more like real paper than before. The glare free nature of E Ink Digital Paper makes an even better reading experience in bright sunlight. For low light conditions, the front light is 10% brighter at its max setting. You’re covered for every environment.

The charging interface is now USB-C, like many other devices. Finally, one connector for all of your devices! You always have the right cable!

The flush front design has thinner borders – more area for reading material.

Here’s a big change – a warm light that changes the screen from white to amber, and is adjustable for both color and intensity. Fine tune your experience and keep your eyes from straining.

For you beach readers – the Paperwhite is now waterproof! Take your Paperwhite to the shore or lake, on the beach or on a boat. No worries if it goes overboard, or over the side of the bathtub.

So many titles – and now, Audible! Pair the new Paperwhite with your Bluetooth headphone or speakers, start up your Audible subscription and listen to your favorite book.

Get over to Amazon to see the new 11th generation Paperwhite – in 8 and 32G versions. The Paperwhite powered by E Ink Digital Paper – like no other eReader.
